OT Robert Brewster: Cowboys Make a Bevy of Moves

The Dallas Cowboys made several moves on Tuesday in order to get to the mandated 75-player roster limit.

Rookie fourth-round pick LB Brandon Williams (knee) was placed on injured reserve. Undrafted rookie free-agents OL Greg Isdaner and WR Julian Hawkins were waived, and rookie third-round pick OT Robert Brewster was placed on the PUP list.

In addition to the those moves, Dallas also signed undrafted free-agent CB Jeremy Haynes and claimed DE Curtis Johnson off waivers from the Indianapolis Colts, according to a league source.

Biography:
Former Ball State offensive lineman Robert Brewster was drafted in the third round by the Dallas Cowboys in 2009. He helped lead Ball State to a national ranking in 2008 for the first time in school history. With Brewster providing stellar blocking in the trenches, the Cardinals scored 33 of 48 times in the red zone, including 27 touchdowns and six field goals. Brewster had 13 touchdown-resulting blocks through 14 games. That performance by Brewster earned him consideration for the Lombardi and Outland trophy, given to the best interior lineman in college football.
