Eugene Emeralds starter Chris Fetter (2-0) dominated the Vancouver Canadians for two innings, fanning three batters and allowing no runs, no hits and no walks, but was replaced by Jeff Ibarra (1-3) after just two innings of work as the Canadians went on to defeat the Ems 4-2, for their second straight win. The Vancouver Canadians (31-34) turned on the offense early, scoring 13 runs on 17 hits, as they trounced the Eugene Emeralds (30-35) 13-6 Wednesday night. While the Canadians had a huge offensive night, and a stellar outing from starting pitcher Jonathan Joseph and the bullpen, the night proved rough for the Ems, both on the mound and at the plate. Snyder started the season slow, but entering the day Wednesday he had batted over .400 with four home runs in his last 10 games. Through 23 games, he is batting .302 with six home runs and 19 RBI. And the team allowed fans who attended the first-game loss to get a free ticket to the second game and see another setback.
