There are accolades that look nice on paper or in a trophy case, and then there are accolades that stick out for the rest of time. Ball State incoming Freshman OL Matthew Page gets to add one of the former on his resume.

Incoming Ball State Freshman OT Matthew Page will be a part of history this summer. The 6-6 300 OT is one of the players selected to the roster for America’s first junior national team in football.

The USA Football's Junior National Team, which is for players 19 years or younger, will represent the United States in the inaugural International Federation of American Football (IFAF) Junior World Championship in Canton, Ohio, from June 27 to July 5, 2009.

Stay tuned to Ballstateinsider.com as we talk to Matthew about his selection.
