Nate Davis Earns MAC-West POTW Honors

With another usual stellar Nate Davis performance,the Ball State QB earned yet another MAC West honor.The Cardinal Junior was named the MAC-West Offensive Player of The Week after his brilliant game against a good NIU squad last Wednesday.Nate was almost perfect for the game,connecting on 18 of 22 passes for 300 yards and four touchdowns.

Nate Davis (Bellaire, Ohio/Bellaire H.S.), a junior quarterback on Ball State’s nationally ranked football team, has been selected as the Mid-American Conference West Division Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in Ball State’s 45-14 win over Northern Illinois last week.

Davis completed 18-of-22 passes for 300 yards and four touchdowns with no interceptions to help the Cardinals improve to 9-0 overall and 5-0 in the MAC.

This marked the second time this season Davis has won the weekly award. He also received the honor after his performance in the Cardinals win over Eastern Michigan Oct. 25.

Ball State will play at Miami University Tuesday in a game televised nationally on ESPN2 at 7 p.m.
