Briggs Orsbon might have played away from his natural position all season long by playing QB instead of WR, but his skills and stats did not go unnoticed by those who select the representatives of their state in the Big 33 Classic.
Orsbon, who put up 1,771 yards rushing and 977 yards passing this past season, was selected to the squad as a WR.
Orsbon, who has verbally committed to Ball State to play for Head Coach Brady Hoke next season, will continue the recent streak of Cardinals selected to the team.
Last season 5 current Ball State players were honored by their state to perform in the game. RB Frank Edmonds, WR Dan Ifft, LB Loren Womack, along with walk-on QB Perci Garner and Greyshirt LB George Tabron all received plenty of playing time in last years event.
