A Playboy Magazine Preseason All-American, Miller ranked second in the country in punting in 2006 with a 46.3 average, which ranks as the second best single-season average in Ball State history. He managed a 43.8 average in 2005, which ranks as the fifth best mark in Ball State annals. Miller has 169 career punts for 7,672 career punt yards and a 45.4 career average. Miller was selected as the second best punter in the nation in the preseason by The Sporting News plus was a Street & Smith’s Preseason All-American and an Athlon Magazine Preseason All-America Second-Team choice. Ball State is 5-4 this season. The Cardinals will play at Indiana Saturday, host Toledo on ESPN2 Nov. 13 and finish the regular season at Northern Illinois Nov. 24.
