Ohio DB/RB has offers

Fresh of rushing for 208 yards and 6 touchdowns in a 58-0 victory over Westland and in the process becoming Gahanna Lincoln's all-time leading rusher, Darius Reeves talks to BallStateInsider.com about his recruiting process.

Darius Reeves is a physically gifted 6-1 175 RB/DB from Gahanna, OH (Lincoln High School). Reeves has parlayed his athletic talents into major college football offers. Reeves, who plays RB, but is gaining most interest as a DB at the college level, recently became his schools all-time leading rusher during a victory over Westland in which he ran for 208 yards and 6 touchdowns.

Reeves has 2 offers from Mid-American Conference schools Kent State and Toledo. He also has major interest from several other schools.

"Everyone in the Big Ten is looking at me," Reeves said. "As is Washington, Ball State, West Virginia, Cincinnati; the list goes on and on." Although the Cardinals have yet to offer the defensive back, Reeves certainly has interest in the Cardinals.

"Yes, I am very interested in Ball State," Reeves said. "I really enjoyed my visit there. I liked just about everything about the school. I had a great time."

Reeves also weighed in on what the biggest factors are in his selection of a school.

"The biggest factors in my decision," Reeves said. "Are going to be academics, the coach, and the opportunity to compete."

As for a top five?

"I don't have a top 5 as of now, I'm still trying to decide on what I'm going to do with that," Reeves said. "But I don't plan on making any decisions until after the season."
