Our series on the 2015 Class and what prospects are on the radar for Ball State Football. Mack Ripley, a 6-2 250 DT/OG from Decatur (IN) Bellmont High School made a visit to Ball State on Sunday and came away impressed with what he saw.

"I really liked the experience I had down there today," Ripley said. "There is a certain amount of camaraderie that you don't get in most places. They really seem like family."

Ripley enjoyed a solid junior season for the Braves as he excelled on both sides of the ball. We believe though, that the Cardinals are keeping tabs on Ripley for his work at DT.

"I talked to the Defenisve Line Coach (Nick Siatras)," Ripley said. "And I talked to the Strength and Conditioning Coach (Dave Feeley), he is fun and someone that I believe I would get a lot of excellent work from."

After meeting the coaches, Ripley also had a chance to watch some practice.

"The practice was great to see," Ripley said. "The way they practice, I really like. They work fast, and they work as a team, but it is also broke down into individual instruction too so you get to learn better than just lining up and hitting each other."

As far as other schools with interest in Ripley, he stated that he has made visits to Michigan, Illinois and Ohio so far with a trip planned to Eastern Michigan for junior day.

Stay tuned to the Ball State Insider as we keep track of Mack this summer and also bring you all the up to the minute Ball State football and basketball recruiting news.
