2015 Ball State Target: Bryce Jenkinson

2015 Ball State Target: Bryce Jenkinson

Our series on the 2015 Class and what prospects surely are on the radar for Ball State Football.

A short distance across the state line from Indiana lays Greenville, OH home of athletic OLB Bryce Jenkinson.

The 6-1 220 Jenkinson had a prolific junior year for the Green Wave posting 133 tackles and 2 sacks while forcing and recovering a fumble.

What jumps off the film with Jenkinson is his speed and athletic ability. At 220 he moves quicker than the majority of the players around him. That is quite a statement, for a player playing in the vaunted Greater Western Ohio Conference which produces its fair share of Division 1 talent each year. Jenkinson is able to drop effectively into coverage, but is at his best when attacking the run.

Jenkinson is also a big time hitter and sure tackler and I believe will translate well into a WILL position at the next level.

Stay tuned to the Ball State Insider as we keep track of Bryce this summer and also bring you all the up to the minute Ball State football and basketball recruiting news.
