Mississippi @ Arkansas – Two teams that have plumbed the depths of despair this season and who are now trying to rise from the muck of SEC bottom-feeders. With Arkansas just marking time, Mississippi has motivation on their side. Rebels 24 – Razorbacks 20

Texas A&M @ Auburn – TAMU shouldn’t need the help of the 12th man to take care of a dispirited Auburn team reeling from a loss to VU. TAMU 24 – Auburn 10

Kentucky @ Missouri – Missouri finally gets of the schneid with an SEC win. Injuries have left the Mildcats in total disarray. Mizzou 31 – UK 14

Mississippi State @ Alabama – Slam the door on the Bulldogs’ dream of SEC titles. Motivation and desire only go so far, when you bring a knife to a gunfight. Alabama 24 – Mississippi State 7

Georgia vs. Florida (Jacksonville) - Every time I think of Georgia’s aspirations for this game, I get a cartoon image of a bulldog carrying a football, tethered to a huge ball and chain. On the ball is written “South Carolina”. The Dogs will find the Florida offense impenetrable, and Florida will find a way to score enough to win. Gators 24 – Georgia 17

Tennessee @ South Carolina – There is enough finger-pointing and blaming others going on for both of these teams, they would be an adequate stand-in for the US Congress. The approval rating might be the same, as well. At least the Gamecocks have has some success this season, as opposed to the big orange’s notable lack of same. South Carolina 28 – UTK 20

Massachusetts @ Vanderbilt – Vandy took a huge step forward in the James Franklin era last week with a win over Auburn. They need to consolidate that progress with a solid, dominating performance over the worst BCS team. I foresee Zac to the right, Zac to the left, and Zac up the middle, and Rogers to Mathews for 6….rinse and repeat. Vandy 45 – Minutemen 3
