Ball State picks up first commit for 2012

Ball State got an early start to the Class of 2012 with the addition of one of the hardest positions to recruit.

Ball State and Head Coach Pete Lembo, picked up their first verbal committment for the Class of 2012 on Wednesday when local QB Ozzie Mann made his choice.

Mann, a 6-3 225 QB from Delta High School - just outside of Muncie, is one of the state of Indiana's top passing prospects.

Ball State was Mann's first and only offer at this time, but he had interest from several Mid-American Conference schools. Recommended Stories
