Ball State added 4 new faces to the program this week as it announced the signing of National Letters of Intent by Michael Ayers, Eric Patterson, Chris Sparrow and Dylan Curry.
Ayers, a 6-1 210 OLB from Elk Grove, CA (Laguna Creek), chose Ball State a few weeks ago after visiting the campus. Ayers is a former prep QB as well as LB.
Patterson, a 5-10 190 DB from Tampa, FL (Plant) chose the Cardinals over offers from Buffalo, Ohio and a slew of FCS level offers.
Sparrow, a 6-2 295 OG, comes to Ball State after two seasons at Harper College in Illinois and will have 3 years to play two seasons.
Curry, a 6-5 255 TE, is a transfer from Louisville and will sit out the 2011 campaign. Curry, also a former prep QB, was a greyshirt signee by Louisville in the Class of 2010.
