Snead enrolls at Ball State

Willie Snead becomes the first memeber of the Class of 2011 as he enrolled early and will start classes Monday.

New Ball State Head Football Coach Pete Lembo, picked up his first official recruit this weekend, when WR Willie Snead enrolled in classes a semester early at Ball State.

Snead, a 6-0 180 WR from Muskegon, MI (Muskegon Heights), will start classes on Monday and is eligible to take part in Spring Practice next year - which will give him a head start on the rest of the incoming class.

Snead, who played QB in high school, was named Michigan's Player of the Year in Division 5-6. He completed 126-of-186 passes for 2,200 yards with 13 touchdowns and one interception. He also carried 172 times for 1,083 yards and nine TDs. Recommended Stories
